FAQs
-
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans from Aetna, Anthem/BCBS, Cigna, and Optum/UnitedHealthcare.
We also provide documentation called Superbills for clients seeking Out-of-Network reimbursement.
It is the client or paying party’s responsibility to submit Superbills for reimbursement to their insurance provider in these instances.
-
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit or debit cards, cash, and checks for private pay clients.
Our practice does require a card on file to charge for any late cancellation or no-show fees when applicable, but the listed forms of payment are accepted outside of these instances.
If billing insurance, a credit or debit card kept on file is required to cover copays or coinsurance.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions canceled within 24 hours of the start time will be charged a $45 late-cancellation fee.
In the event of a no-show or cancelation after the start time of a session, the full rate of the session will be charged.
Please note: insurance does not cover the cost of these charges. Additionally, private pay clients receiving a reduced rate will be charged the full rate in the event of a no-show or cancelation after the start time of a session, not the reduced rate.
-
What's your inclement weather policy?
Cancellations for inclement weather will not be charged as a late cancellation. Clients are encouraged to utilize virtual sessions in these instances, but not expected. Safety is our top priority.

Where should I park?
When coming in person, the Water St. Parking Deck is the best place to park. Free 4-hour parking is available, but pay attention to the signs indicating free parking vs. permit parking.
Other free parking options are available around downtown Harrisonburg. Read more about locations here.
